About the Artist

As a painter, Pat was quite the late bloomer. Following her retirement, she began classes in watercolor and it was love at first stroke.  Pat has studied with well-known artists Janet Walsh, Charles Reid and  Mel Stabin,  a wonderful painter and teacher, having the most influence on Pat’s work.

Pat  has received several local and regional awards and has had  many Kindred Spirit Exhibits with her friend and colleague Janet Campbell.

 

.She is a signature member of the North East Watercolor Society,  an elected member of the Salmagundi Art Club and the New Jersey Watercolor Society.  Pat has also had paintings accepted into the Hudson Valley Art Association and the Garden State Watercolor Society juried exhibitions.

When not painting or in her gardens, Pat enjoys teaching other painters, sharing her love of watercolor.  She lives with her husband Richard in Ocean County, New Jersey.

Richard has written two books of poetry which include watercolors by Pat.
